Joint owners: each share must be at least AED 400,000. Mortgaged property is accepted with a bank NOC and payment statement. A Dubai Police clearance certificate is required. Spouse and children can be sponsored.

Golden Visa (Real Estate)

One property or several combined to reach AED 2,000,000. Completed and off-plan units both qualify; mortgaged property is accepted with a bank NOC and AED 2,000,000 paid. Spouses may co-own — if the total value is below AED 4,000,000, one spouse applies and sponsors the other. Non-spouse co-owners must each hold AED 2,000,000.

Family Sponsorship
Golden Visa holders have no minimum salary requirement when sponsoring family members, sons are not subject to the usual age limit and parents can be sponsored. Family residence follows the validity of the holder's Golden Visa.

For foreign employees employed in the UAE mainland or freezone, and their employers.

Or AED 3,000 per month plus employer-provided accommodation. Since the February 2026 update the sponsor's gender and profession no longer restrict sponsorship. Sons can be sponsored up to age 25 (students), unmarried daughters have no age limit and children of determination have no age limit.

A refundable deposit per parent (around AED 2,500 - 5,000), valid health insurance and a medical fitness test are required. Parents are normally sponsored together and only blood parents qualify. The permit is renewed annually.

Authorizes you to legally conduct freelance work and invoice clients. Does not automatically include residency. Issued via MoHRE (mainland) or freezone authorities. Freelance Residence Visa
A combination of freelance permit + residency. Issued under freezone or Green Visa paths, allowing you to legally reside and work. Requires additional steps such as medical examination, Emirates ID and health insurance.
Green Visa (Self-Employed)
⏱ 5 YearsSelf-sponsored 5-year residence. A MoHRE freelance permit is required first, together with a bachelor's degree or specialised diploma, and freelance income of at least AED 360,000 per year over the last two years (or proof of financial solvency). Spouse, children and parents can be sponsored.
